Ira Soelistyo is the mother of Aditya Wicaksono who was first diagnosed with leukemia in 1984 at the age of 4 . Since 1993, Ira has been very active in the development of childhood cancer programs and organizations throughout Indonesia.
She previously served in the ICCCPO board in 1999, but stepped down in 2005 due to the relapse of her son.He subsequently lost his battle to cancer in 2005. Ira is currently Chair of YKAKI Foundation in Indonesia.
