João Maria de Lencastre de Bragança
João lost his 7 year old daughter Madalena to brain tumour . He is currently the President of Acreditar, the Portuguese Association of Children with Cancer, which is a founding member of ICCCPO. João has a Masters in Literary Theory and is now working on his doctorate. He also has a degree in mechanical engineering and undertakes translation to Portuguese of patents and books from renowned publishers and institutions.
