NutritiON!
CCI’S Paediatric Oncology Nutrition Training Programme
Nutrition can change the course of cancer treatment for a child.
Our NutritiON! Paediatric Oncology Nutrition Training Programme is a six-month, evidence-based capacity-building initiative designed to strengthen nutrition care for children with cancer. Developed in cooperation with Cuddles Foundation for the childhood cancer community, the programme equips professionals working in paediatric oncology with practical knowledge and tools to address one of the most critical - yet often overlooked - aspects of cancer treatment: nutrition.

-
Poor nutrition and malnutrition remains a major challenge in paediatric oncology worldwide. Children undergoing cancer treatment frequently face nutritional risks that can affect treatment tolerance, recovery, and long-term outcomes. By improving the capacity of professionals and organisations to deliver effective nutrition care, the NutritiON! programme aims to help improve treatment experiences and outcomes for children with cancer.
The programme combines expert knowledge with practical learning, enabling participants to apply nutrition care approaches that are both evidence-based and sensitive to the realities of diverse healthcare settings.
This is a six-month training programme, running from April to October 2026, with regular online sessions. The full session calendar is available in the Programme Guidelines.
