About the role:

The Programme Manager (PM) is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of CCI's international programmes and projects. This role requires strong project management capabilities, cross-cultural communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex programmes simultaneously across diverse geographies. The PM works closely with the SGPM, and partner organisations to ensure impactful and well-governed programme delivery.

Indefinite-term contract: starts in June 2026

Location: Remote (home-based)

Reports to: Executive Director (ED)

Responsibilities:

Programme Design and Development

  • Under the guidance of ED and with the support of the programme management team, develop new project proposals and concept notes as part of the fundraising and programme development process

  • Lead the design, launch, and delivery of new programmes, in alignment with the CCI team.

 Programme Management

  • Lead the end-to-end management of CCI's global programme portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, quality reporting, and compliance with funder requirements.

  • Oversee programmes implementation across multiple countries and CCI regions, including field assessments coordination and comprehensive programme reporting.

  • Monitor projects, identify areas for improvement, and ensure best practices are maintained.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports for all funders on a quarterly and annual basis.

  • Under the guidance of ED and with the support of the programme management team, uphold standardised reporting frameworks across projects, capturing insights and data to build a strong evidence base for future programme growth.

 General Responsibilities

  • Support the establishment of internal processes to measure the social value generated by CCI's programmes and projects.

  • Support the Communications and Brand Manager with content for social media campaigns, and collaborate with them for the launch of new projects and programmes.

  • Collaborate with the Administrator for the development of internal organisational procedures, as identified throughout the programme implementation.

  • Support the planning and delivery of the CCI Global Annual Conference, including educational sessions and workshops, and contribute to the global and regional conferences as agreed with the ED.·  

  • In general, provide support to the ED.

  • Assist CCI global with general administration tasks related to the programme.

 Representation & Networking

  • Network with programme related stakeholders.

  • Represent CCI in external forums, such as engagements with the WHO and SIOP.

  • Accompany the Executive Director in strategic partnership meetings with key stakeholders and prospective collaborators.

Job requirements:

i. Experience and qualifications:

Essential:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as International Development, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in programme management, ideally within a multi-country environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to produce clear, professional reports and correspondence.

  • Digital literacy in business software and collaborative tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience designing and embedding Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks and continuous improvement processes.

  • Experience working with federated or membership-based structures.

  • Professional fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.

Employment details:

  • This is a full-time position, with an indefinite-term contract.

  • The role can be remote, flexible home-based work, providing that the employee is available for occasional international travel and in-person work.

  • This role offers an annual salary of €34,000, excluding bonus.

  • Contractual hours of work are 38 per week.

  • 22 days of annual leave, and no other benefits are provided (such as medical or pension).

  • Ideally, the Programme Manager, will start in June 2026 (the start date is negotiable).
