CCI Holds Annual General Assembly 2025 (AGA): A Global Gathering for Childhood Cancer Advocacy
80 member organizations came together to celebrate milestones, welcome new members, and define the future of CCI.
On Saturday, September 6th, our global community united online via Zoom for the CCI Annual General Assembly (AGA 2025) — a pivotal moment to reflect, celebrate, and plan ahead.
With 80 member organizations attending and voting, we reached important milestones and made key decisions that will shape the future of our network:
🌟 Welcomed new members — growing to 214 organizations across 100 countries!
✅ Approved the extension of board members to continue their valuable leadership.
📈 Endorsed new strategies and actions for 2025–2026, strengthening our collective impact.
💛 Luisa Basset was unanimously recognized as an Honorary Member, honoring her years of dedication and countless contributions to our mission.
We also approved the 2024 Annual Report, which highlights a year filled with powerful achievements:
Global campaigns such as ICCD, Survivors Week, and Gold September
Growth in digital initiatives to reach more families and communities
Stronger partnerships and collaborations worldwide
