#LightItUpGold

Lighting the World Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness

Every September, landmarks and buildings around the world glow in gold as part of the #LightItUpGold campaign — a tradition that unites communities to raise awareness and show support for children and families affected by childhood cancer.

This year, CCI and SIOP once again invited institutions, cities, and communities across the globe to join the movement by illuminating their buildings in gold throughout the month — and the response was extraordinary.

Together, we transformed our cities into beacons of hope, spreading a global message of compassion, strength, and solidarity.

Here are some of the illuminated buildings from #GoldSeptember2025 — each one shining as a symbol of awareness and unity around the world.

Thank you to everyone who shared photos of monuments, buildings, and landmarks lit in gold — and to those who joined by displaying the Gold Ribbon. Your participation helped make this year’s campaign brighter than ever.
